Indra M. Firmansyah, Director & Head of Investment at Pinnacle Investment, expressed an optimistic view of the market heading into the end of 2025. He noted that potential interest rate cuts by both the Federal Reserve and Bank Indonesia could serve as important catalysts for market performance.
In the equity market, Indra sees room for the continuation of the IHSG’s upward trend despite periods of volatility earlier in the year. He emphasized the need for additional market drivers to support stronger capital inflows into Indonesia’s capital market.
Indra also highlighted the banking sector as one of the segments with strong prospects for robust returns in the coming year. Meanwhile, conglomerate stocks are expected to remain key contributors to the IHSG’s movement in 2025, although their performance should be monitored closely when assessing the investment landscape for 2026.
These insights were discussed in Indra M. Firmansyah’s conversation with Andi Shalini on CNBC Indonesia’s Power Lunch (Monday, 01/12/2025).
